Book Sale

Just a quick reminder that our book sale is still on outside the Library and extra stock is being added all the time. All books are still €1 each and you can pay for them in the Library. All proceeds are used to purchase new Library stock.

Library Book Sale

The library is holding a used book sale today and tomorrow, Wednesday 21st & Thursday 22nd of November outside the Library entrance. Each book is one euro.

UPDATE 26/11/12: All remaining books are now free to take away! They will be available outside the Library only until tomorrow, Tuesday 27th November so come up and give a few lonely books a good home!

Thank You!

Our recent book sale raised a total of €1,200, all of which will be donated to Barnardos. Many thanks to all who took part and donated generously to a worthy cause.

Book Sale

The Library is holding a book sale next Tuesday and Wednesday, 2nd and 3rd of November, in the corridor outside the Library. Books will be available for a recession-friendly €2 and all proceeds will go to Barnardos.

Come along next week, give a book a friendly home and help a really worthy cause at the same time. It's a win-win!

Book Sale March 1-3

Are your books gathering dust at home?
Got a secret classic you'd like to share?
Why not free up your shelves and bring some of your old favourites to the Library this week?

In return you'll get a voucher for €1 off the price of a book in our Book Sale, being held next week (alternatively, you can just bring your book(s) along to the sale itself).

The sale will take place outside the Library entrance on Monday-Wednesday (March 1-3) from 10am-4pm each day.

All proceeds of the Book Sale are going to St. Michael's House, which provides vital services to those with intellectual disability and their families. The sale is part of their 2010 Bring a Book, Buy a Book campaign.

The Library is holding a book sale next Wednesday and Thursday, 25th and 26th of November. It will be held outside the Library entrance, from 10am to 5pm each day.

All books will be sold for €2 each, so why not pop up next week and you might find a bargain or three!

Last week's book sale in aid of St. Michael's House was a roaring success and the Library would like to thank all those who contributed towards it. We managed to raise €1,024 which we will present to St. Michaels House this week.

Our Book Sale in aid of St. Michael's House will start tomorrow (Wednesday) at 10am outside the Library. We've had a great selection of titles donated already so thanks to all who contributed. You can still bring books along to the sale itself which will allow you to purchase another book for €2 (normal price will be €3).

The sale will last until Friday 6th March. Roll up!
